Thirsty

“THERE’S A SPACE LEFT. WHERE SHE USED TO BE. I WONDER WHAT I’LL FILL IT WITH”

Thirsty by Stephanie Martin

We meet newly single Sara who is recovering from the painful end to her first queer relationship and life-changing introduction to submission and kink. Surrounded by the predictable pressures of womanhood in her late 30s; motherhood, marriage and planning a move to zone 6, Sara is certain none of those life goals are for her - in fact they make her itch. Her heart has been broken and stamped to pieces, but the awakening of this relationship has changed her forever. Sara is coming to realise that she's barely thought about who she really is and what she really wants.

Thirsty is a hilarious, moving and poignant exploration of contemporary womanhood, sexuality, motherhood, queerness and the many divergent paths encountered moving through your 30s.

Thirsty premiered at The Vault Festival 2023, directed by Scott Le Crass and starring Rosanna Suppa, Anna Spearpoint, Louise Beresford and Greer Dale-Foulkes
